Aw yeah, so proud of myself. Backgrounds are much needed. But I have art work in the game… kinda… All NPCs currently have their “relaxed” faces in. To me relaxed faces are often the faces that look angry.

Please note, Apple has an Apple clip in her hair now, which is something I kept forgetting to give her. I also tried to give her arms and face freckles but it made her look sickly so I just gave a few on the cheeks.

Anyways. Things are coming along nicely.

Today I was a bit worried that I’m not going to have everything done and I wanted to kick myself for picking something so big. But I feel a lot better now. I have custom name and I can italic text :D

I feel like I posted all the stuff I needed to say yesterday and so today I don’t have much to say. I’ve been working with Ren’Py. Today I added in some variables and if else statements. If I was smarter I would understand how to explain what those mean. I guess if else is easy. It’s pretty much what it sounds like. If BLAH then do Stuff, else do something else. So like If Tuesday go to class, else, stay home.

I didn’t get as much done as I wanted to do today, I’m really going to be busy tomorrow X_x Maybe I’ll stay up a little later then normal tonight.

Today’s stress level is at Desert Bluffs alert.

I saw my supervisor Adam today, told him how Twine wasn’t working for me and how I was planning to use Flash instead. He though Flash was the long way of doing things and told me about Ren’Py, a program for interactive visual novels (aka dating sim games). It uses python, which is a programming language I’m somewhat alright at. I also have a number of friends I can ask for help in python.
